I’m currently building a company. Before this, I completed a PhD in Aeronautics & Astronautics at Stanford University focused in model-based reinforcement learning and artificial intelligence. After my PhD, I spent three years as a research scientist and vice president at the BlackRock AI Labs. There, I lead a research team that used techniques from optimization and machine learning to build frameworks for alternative asset underwriting and portfolio construction. I hold double Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Engineering from Claremont McKenna College and Harvey Mudd College. I also love philosophy, and consider my beliefs strongly influenced by Kant, Hegel, Nietzsche, and Douglas Hofstadter.
