My name is Kunal Menda, and I’m a graduate student researcher in the Stanford Intelligent Systems Laboratory. I’m currently pursuing a PhD at Stanford Aeronautics & Astronautics. I completed a 5-year double-degree program through Harvey Mudd College and Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, CA. I completed a B.Sc. in Engineering and a B.A. in Economics from these institutions respectively. My core research focus has been on learning dynamical systems from data, and then using these models to make intelligent decisions. I also love philosophy, and consider my beliefs strongly influenced by Kant, Hegel, Nietzsche, and Douglas Hofstadter.
